John T. Mauro: Senior Counsel
John’s civil litigation practice is concentrated on the defense of personal injury and product liability claims, subrogation defense, insurance coverage disputes and governmental immunity. He has had considerable success representing a host of different individuals and companies. Never afraid to take a case before a jury, John acknowledges the value of reasonable compromise, given the ever-increasing costs of litigation.
John has been with the firm since January 2006. Prior to joining MGJ, John worked with a small Denver boutique firm working in oil and gas, and mineral rights law, as well as representing automobile dealerships in Colorado and throughout the Rocky Mountain West. Early in his career, John honed his courtroom skills as town prosecutor for the cities of Empire and Georgetown, Colorado.
John is admitted before the Colorado State Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Additionally, he is a member of the American Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association and Denver Bar Association
